Mast Mounted HDTV Pre Amplifier - Winegard AP 4700 Chromstar 2000 Series UHF AP-4700
This is a more specialized amplifier for certain situations where you do NOT have a need to receive digital VHF television or FM signals, since it is specific for UHF amplification. We here at Heaven Sent Television have used this one on occasions when we coupled in an additional antenna to receive a specific distant UHF channel. In our West Central Florida area, like most of the country, we have a need for both UHF and VHF channel reception for our FREE local digital broadcast channels from ABC, CBS, FOX, PBS, WB, and NBC.
This UHF only pre-amp with a gain of 19 dB, has a 75 ohm input and output. It provides an efficient way to make up for the loss from long cable lengths and splitters.
